Crime Surge In American Cities

Remember the optimism in some circles a few years ago about how the crime rate will just keep dropping? See: Murder Rates Rising Sharply in Many U.S. Cities

Call cops racist and prosecute them for defending themselves and really quickly they become so timid that criminal elements feel quite emboldened. Thugocracy gets out of hand and the aggressive thugs become more eager to pull a gun and start shooting.

That's one possibility. Another is that crime rates go up and down randomly to some degree, so if you want to write a news story about their going up you find a list of cities where they went up this year. I do not believe there are figures yet on the overall crime rate going up.

The Democratic party has long been pursuing a policy of exacerbating racial tensions to drive up the black vote, and assure it's loyalty to their own party. Having lost control of both houses of Congress, and this with a somewhat elevated black vote due to Obama being on the ballot, they're seriously frightened about what might happen in 2016 with an uninspiring white geriatric candidate. So they turned the dial up to 11 on that strategy.

We'd already had a significant, and largely unreported, level of black hate crimes against whites thanks to the milder versions of this strategy. The "knockout game", for instance. The ramp up of induced racial tensions has involved encouraging race riots, such as in Ferguson. (Social media analysis shows that was planned, with extensive use of outside agitators. Expect more to be scheduled, going into the election.)

But they didn't think through what a volatile combination thug culture and deliberately induced racial paranoia and hate could be. We're on the verge of a race war here. Not white on black, not average black on white, but the black thug class against the whites they've been told over and over hate them, and are keeping them down. The people they've been taught to hate, and blame all their problems on.

It's not the sort of thing you can keep control over, once you've started it. It's got a good chance of snowballing, and I don't see any sign the Democrats are rethinking this strategy, either.

Brett Bellmore,

"I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat." - Will Rogers.

In your haste to construct a conspiracy theory of Democrats plotting a race war, you forget one thing, we are not that organized.
Reality is often more simple than a conspiracy theory.
Here is reality;
African Americans resent of being treated badly by the police, now they are acting on that resentment.
Cops are not all heroes and blacks are not all "Thugs" (and vice versa).
Blacks are not "targeting whites" but Cops ARE targeting blacks - this is demonstrable.

Anthony, Democrats would claim that identical media themes popping up all over within hours of each other was just coincidence, or great minds thinking alike. Then we found out about Journolist.

False front organizations would show up, conveniently, to run fake "tea party" candidates, or to release gun control selling points from supposedly 'pro-gun' organizations. It was a bit of a give-away when the domain name for "Americans for Gun Safety" turned out to have been registered by the DNC's PR firm.

That, "We're too disorganized and stupid to pull off anything like that" defense is a joke. In some ways the Democratic party falls short of being as organized as a military platoon. But they've got designing and distributing tactics and talking points down to a science.

No, pumping up racial tensions IS a deliberate, calculated strategy, pursued on many fronts. And it's starting to pay off in dead bodies.

Brett Bellmore,
So, which is it are we Democrats the stupid buffoons who have no idea of how to wield political power? Or, are we the evil geniuses that are pulling the strings behind every event? You can't have it both ways, are we stupid buffoons or evil geniuses?
